Brand: Virginia Sin
The Slab Collection is a modern interpretation of the primitive era. The crude forms harken back to simpler times when form followed function. The glazes chosen create patterns and textures that mimic traditional firing and oxidations. Every piece is uniquely and lovingly hand-built.
Suggested uses: Chopsticks, spaghettini, slotted spoons
We make feel goods. 100% American-made home goods that you and your home can feel good about. SIN is a multi-disciplinary design studio based in Greenpoint - Brooklyn, New York.
We don’t make things. We make comfort. We make reasons to go home. Things you can wrap up in. Things made slow. With two bare hands. Things worth sharing. Or hoarding. Depending on your prerogative. Things that help you find home, wherever you are.

Virginia Sin, is the founder and creative director of SIN. She is a multi-disciplinary designer unbound by lines. In 2006 she received a Bachelors in Design and Advertising at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. A week after graduation, she left home and built a new one in New York, by way of tacos. Following her work in the kitchen as a personal chef, she was worked at a series of design and advertising agencies. It was during this time she began to explore her creative inclinations by way of hand and developed The Gluttony Collection. By 2007, the collection had attracted the attention of Design Within Reach and received “Most Sustainable” in the Modern + Design + Function Competition. In 2012, the porcelain paper plate was added to the prix fixe course at Eleven Madison Park. And in 2016, The Gluttony Collection was acquired by The New York Historical Society Museum, in their 20th and 21st century objects collection. Most recently, Virginia has been busy broadening her designs and developing a range of new products beyond ceramics, fit to cozy up every room in the home.
